And so, it happened. One day I was a somewhat happy Facebook user, the other day I was banned. Of course, I tried to resolve the problem. Of course, I did not hear back from the Gods at Meta.

Gone were all my friends and contacts, the user community that was following my photos on Instagram.

Never heard I back and there was no change to communicate what could have happened. It is clear that my account was hacked. But none of that matters now.

I am back on Facebook, but as a reader only. I share my photos and stories on this site. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Meta won’t get any user content as long as they exists.

Having said that, on to a new era. And here is a photo of the sunset at Monument Valley.
