New York, New York

Of course, this is also the title of the famous Frank Sinatra song. Every year I wonder ‘if I can make it there‘, and besides that it really is ‘It’s up to you‘, I have been too busy to go back to this city with many faces. Hopefully this will happen in the next year around the beginning of May, absolutely best weather over there around that time.

My first time arriving in the Big Apple would not have been complete with cold, gray weather and listening to Simon & Garfunkels ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ album. I have been listening to this album since I was about ten years old and always associated the music on this album with New York, even though I had never been there at that time.

1993 was also the year that the movie Sleepless in Seattle was released.

9/11

Besides a visit to New York in July 1994, I came back in early 2002 less than half a year since 9/11. Not spending any more words on this terrible event. The photos will speak for itself.

Strolling through the Big Apple

I can spend days walking and doing photography. And I did, on various occasions.
